Golf course rules

The Royal Laurentien must respect certain rules in order to insure the golf game or tournament goes smoothly.

GOLF RULES

• 4½ hours maximum playing time.
• Maximum of 10 strokes per hole.
• Follow the rhythm; do not leave empty holes in front of you.
• No practice swings on the tee off.
• Players that delay the game must play through.
• 2 minutes allowed for balls in the water.
• No electric pull carts allowed on the golf course.
• Do not drag pull carts with electric carts.
• On all par threes, leave carts on the pathway.
• 90 degree rule applies at all time.
• On fairway follow indicated signs.
• Marshalls have complete authority on the course.
• Please rake the sand traps.
• Please repair ball marks on the greens.
• Replace divots on fairways.
• Proper dress code is mandatory.
• Jeans, short shorts and camisoles are not permitted on the course.
• Polo shirts are mandatory. For women, the polo shirts without sleeves or round collar are permitted.
• Golf shoes with soft spikes are required on the course.
• One golf bag per player.
• Foursomes have priority on the course.
• Between 9th and 10th hole, only 5 minutes are allowed.
